Full Budget Being Negotiated Now

The funding we fought for was for just 2 months. Now the full budget is on the line.

In May, Arizona lawmakers will return to debate the full state budget that starts in July.

After conceding on the supplemental funding bill for DDD services, several of the lawmakers now facing recall have faced backlash from within their own political circles - not for the harm they caused, but for giving in.

And they’ve made it clear: they plan to retaliate.

There are already signs that disability funding may be on the chopping block again. This time, not as a negotiation tactic - but as punishment.

This is why we can’t stop now.

Keeping the pressure on these lawmakers is the only thing stopping further harm. We have to show them that threats and political games will be met with accountability - not silence.

Meet Evelyn And Jaime

Evelyn's Life Matters. Jaime's life matters. Please watch their story.

AZCentral Full Story

This is Evelyn Joy. And her mom, Jaime.

Children like Evelyn need help to stay alive. Moms like Jaime cannot do this without support.

Without disability services, kids like Evelyn lose care. They lose safety. They can lose their lives.

And lawmakers know it. They know exactly what they’re doing.

They’re not just debating budgets — they’re deciding whether children like Evelyn live or die.

They’ve seen their faces. They’ve heard their stories.

And they are still playing games with children’s lives. They are still choosing politics.

And if lawmakers won’t protect kids like Evelyn — we will never forget.

Tell Them Disabled Children Are Not Pawns

You Are Not Alone

These  are tough times with a lot of uncertainty. Many are barely holding on  by a thread even on much better days than we have had lately. If you  care for someone with disabilities or have disabilities yourself and are  feeling overwhelmed here are resources. Please know, you are not alone.  There are many amazing people working tirelessly for this community.   And they are making progress. Hang in there. There is a lot to look  forward to, even if it's not there just yet.
