Who Represents ME?

Notes on finding and contacting legislators:

Once you go to Step 2 to find legislators: 


HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:

  • The House Members are in the top section. 
  • Any Bill that has HB then a number. (For example HB2945) would be handled in the house of representatives. 
  • You will have two house representative in each district. 
  • Click on their names and it pulls up their profile.  Next to their picture find where it says "Email prefix:" and click on their name. This pulls up a form to send them an email.  


SENATE:

  • The Senate members are are in the bottom section. Scroll below the House members to find them. 
  • Any Bill that has SB and then a number would be handled by the senate.  (For example SB1734)
  • You will have one senator in your district. 
  • Click on their names and it pulls up their profile.  Next to their picture find where it says "Email prefix:" and click on their name. This pulls up a form to send them an email.
